Statement of Faith
Creation: God created the earth, made man, and all things are His creation:: “I have created the earth, and created man upon it: I, even my hands, have stretched out the heavens, and all their hosts have I commanded.” Isaiah 45:12 “I form the light. and create darkness: I make peace and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.” Genesis 1:1 “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: and he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Colossians 1:16 “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power. For thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11 “Before I formed the in the belly, I knew thee...”Jeremiah 1:5 “For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.” Hebrews 3:4
Salvation: We are all sinners: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Without Jesus Christ we would die in our sins: “For the wages of son is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23 There is a very real hell and those who die without accepting Jesus as their Savior will be condemned to go there: “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:49-50 “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into eternal life. “...when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heven with his mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengence on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Jesus Christ: who sahll be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his power.” Thessalonians 1:7-8
When anyone calls on the name of the Lord, repents of their sin and confesses Jesus with their mouth they have accepted Jesus as their Savior and will escape hell because Jesus is our righteousness, he is our sacrifice for sin. He was born of a virgin, came to this world and walked amoung man without sin. Then he died on a cross, though he was blameless, because God had chosen him as a sacrifice for our sins.We no longer need to sacrifice animals to clense our sins. We cannot have eternal life in heaven without faith in Jesus. We cannot rely on our works or good deeds. Faith in him alone and confession with our lips is our Salvation. He gives us access to God the Father because of his act upon the cross. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Romans 10:9 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made righteousness fo God in him.” II Corinthians 6:21 “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins...” Ephesians 1:7 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.: Ephesians 2:8 “For through him be both have access by one spirit unto the Father.” Ephesians 3:18 “ In whom we have redemption (speaking of God’s Son Jesus) through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:14 “When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.” Colossuans 3:4 “ For if the blood of bulls and of goats and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your concious from dead works to serve the living God.” Hebrews 9:13 “So Christ was once offeed to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear a second time without sin unto salvation.” Hebrews 10:28 “Behold the Lamb of God (speaking of Jesus) which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29 “...and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth in him.” John 3:24 “For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have ever lasting life.” John 3:16 God makes us new creatures when we accept him as our Savior and we are commanded to walk in newness of life. Our old sinners are forgiven and forgotten:: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.” II Corinthians 5:17 “Let him that stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hamds the thing which is good, that he may have to give to them that needeth.” Ephesians 4:5 “That ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:24 “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. For the fruit of the spirit is in all goodness and righteous and truth.” Ephesians 5:8-9 “That you would walk worhty of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.” I Thessalonians3:12 “For God hath not called us unto uncleanness but unto holiness.” IThessalonians 4:7 “ If you love me keep my commandments.”John 14:15 The Bible: The Bible is the true inerrant wor of God and was written through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it was intended to be a guide book for our lives and to bring of comfort and hope, It should never be altered in any way but accepted the way it is written. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” Psalm 119:105 “Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:11 “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitiable for doctorine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. That the man of god may be perfect, thouroughly furnished unto all good works.” II Timothy 16:17 “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish aught from it, that ye may keep the commandment of the Lord your God which I commmand. Deuteronomy 4:2 God: There is one God, He has been, and always will be God whether if you acknowledge Him or not. There is only one mediator between us and God and that is Jesus, not a saint, not a preacher or a priest. Jesus only can take our prayers to God. When Jesus left this earth he left with us his Holy Spirit to guide and comfort us.The Bible speaks of God the Father, Jesus the son of God, and the Holy Spirit of God. “I am the Lord nd there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee when thou hast not known me.” Isaiah 45:5 “For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he amy abide with you forever; even; the spirit of truth whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him, but ye know him, for he dwelleth with you and shall be in you.. I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you.John 14:17-18
